Anyone live near Wantirna South, VIC 3152?

I am hoping someone can check out a Defender for me as I live in Far North Qld.. Also where is the nearest Land Rover specialist that I could get the Defender checked out properly before I make an offer?

I work in Wantirna South.... however I am no Defender expert, I am sure there are others in the area.

I would strongly suggest Glen @ Roverland (http://www.roverland.com.au/)is the man to check out the vehicle for you they are 10 minutes up the road from Wantirna South.

I am going to get him to send me some pics of a couple of issues he told me about then if possible it would be great if someone could have a look. I know with the km I will need to do the head and while it is off I will get a new head if I buy it I will use this to get the price down a bit if possible. What I am more concerned with is it has not got any big issues like burning oil, dodgy gearbox or something or has any other major issues or bad rust. If it is basically solid I will get the owner to take it to the specialist mentioned in this thread and maybe get them to do any work that is needed if I buy the car. I can always get the transporter to collect from there also.
