I thought with the hit song "Evie", Stevie Wright was ahead of his time, it was my all time favourite song and I still love it.

I felt sad for him when I heard the news as he did not do himself any favours with booze and drugs. Nevertheless, he was a great entertainer.:(

RIP Stevie Wright.

I saw him perform Evie at the Opera House when he released it and was blown away. I then saw him try to perform it at the Long Way to the Top Concert a few years ago - could not stand or hold a note.

Very sad when drugs get hold hold of you.
