had to get the wife's disco flat bedded back home today
wasn't much fun but thats another story...
the really scary bit was waiting at the phone booth in front of the shopping centre on bribie island waiting for the racq guy to roll up
how in the supreme beings name people don't get killed in that car park on a daily basis has me baffled
i was there just over an hour and in that time there must have been 20+ really near misses and one old woman drove thru the front plate glass window at the chemist shop...
never been so glad to hop into a truck in my life.... [bigsad]

When I was towed home from panorama, the towie said his last call was for a 'breakdown' that was a car into the sand trap at 140kmh+, with a driver ever so slightly under the influence.
Said he thought I'd done the same, until he heard it was a land rover :D
I avoid car parks. I don't really fit in them any more :p

Sorry, but I lived in Thailand and I can assure they do have their own silly season with sky high fatalities.

Must be a Queensland thing or maybe just a Brisbane thing.
I had no such dramas over christmas break.
What was up with the Disco?

only the second time in all these years a landrover has failed to get us home...
put a second hand one on it with some new bolts and it now goes like a champion again...
thankfully!
