If anyone is doing Melbourne to Sydney, I need our new cheapo racing car dragged back... so if you're empty in that direction let me know!

Alternatively, I'll be going to pick it up (probably 9th/10th) and will have an empty 16' car trailer on the way down... and a half empty one (Peugeot joke) on the way back.

At this stage Ron, it's looking like I'll tow an LSE to Holbrook for Lockee and he'll bring the pug up to me, where are the roof bars? I can see if you can get them to Jason, I'm sure he'd be ok with that.

That's a fair hike for me but it would be a disappointment to miss this opportunity.

Mick, seriously, don't go out of your way. I've just had a look at Google Maps and it's much too far to take them - at least a 150km round trip, probably more.

Mick lives even further away than I thought. It would be a 200km round trip to Dandenong South!

I've just spoken to Bacicat about another way of getting them to me. So, I thank everyone for their assistance and apologise for the hassles I've caused.

Thank you, Mick, but you've already gone a long way just to collect them from Gisborne. Donnybrook is a fair old hike from your place (I had no idea how far these places were from each other until I looked at Google Maps as I don't know the Melbourne region at all).
