cant say ive ever seen that before.
it was just the other day i was watching dashcam videos on youtube and i was thinking how good it was that debris is light and doesn't travel very far.

Its a 90 zone there, down from 110.Perhaps the speed limit needs reducing.Ive had tourists pull out of there whilst steering a truck at 90kmh,they dont realise how quick the traffic is going, especially if they havent slowed from 110!!!!!

Have seen this before where the engine separates in an accident. Has generally been due to poor quality accident repair in the past. If this is the case here who ever did the repair can be liable.

Certainly lucky no bystanders were injured or killed. That motor certainly hit the petrol pump like a guided missile.:o

Front wheel drive. Car hit from the side and separates motor wheels etc. All front wheel drives the drive train is modular. Would drive at speed for a few seconds enough to launch motor. Poor design?

At Le Mans in 1955 there was a crash into the pit wall. The engine went through the crowd and killed 83  people. It's hard to imagine that many people actually being killed, but here's the video.
No safety barriers here.
