Flags of the World Sticker

Hi All
I'm considering getting a replica sticker made up that came out on the D3's and D4's - the one the has the row of flags and the caption "The World's most awarded 4wd". Searching the internet comes up short on images of this sticker so I started prowling the car parks looking for one. I saw one up close on a D4 the other day and snapped a photo thinking sweet - I have my template, however I saw another one from a distance and noticed the flags were different and the text was much longer, going over two lines. I didn't get a chance to read what it said or get a photo. This got me thinking, is there more than one type of sticker and if so which is which (D3 or D4?).

For those of you that have stickers, could you be so kind as to post a photo or list text and flags in order that would be greatly appreciated. If it works out, I might consider a group buy for those who are interested.

I picked up my new car late December and was surprised it didn't have one. Is the D4 no longer "the world's most awarded 4WD"?

So did anything end up eventuating from this? i took mine off my car when i was applying the paint protection thinking i could easily find a replacement on ebay but cant find them anywhere!

I removed this sticker soon after delivery.
I hate stickers.
Buy new tyres, find a new sticker on the car. Get a service, get another sticker. Number plate frames = free advert for the dealership.
At least registration stickers are a thing of the past. Bastards to remove.

I have one photo of a 2013 D4 that has the two line sticker. Very hard to make out the flags and the wording but I believe it reads;
'The worlds most awarded 4wd is now even better

The later D4s don't get the sticker because the rules were changed on how it was judged.

yes that's the one that was on my 2010 Disco.

Unfortunately not Disco_Moe, I got side tracked with other priorities - ie replacing a blown up engine so never got around to starting!!

The revival of the post got me thinking about it again rhionsm. I was going to work on the artwork but hadn't got round to thinking who could print them. Is this something you do?

The BFG would like one that goes from one side of the rear window to the other and about 8" deep.It will match his Terrain response decals down the side panels:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p

If it's going on a Discovery and not a Toyota, I don't think Land Rover will be kicking up a stink.

And besides I'd like to see them monitor that one, it's not like the label is on a website or other universal advertising where they would be able to do something about it :)

If there was a concern about copyright then I think BFG would be in breach with his terrain response stickers but again being on a Discovery I really don't think Land Rover would have a problem with this as it just add value to Land Rover marketing.

It's all positive and if they aren't able to print the world award stickers themselves then I think you printing them gets them around the international marketing loop hole and they would be happy as they achieved the same results but can wipe their hands clean of it.

Hi rhinosm.

My sticker measures 385mm by 54mm. Could not get an accurate measurement for the depth.:p

iam a newby to the forum and was trolling through the posts about disco's and came across this.

í have been hoping to get a replacement sticker but could never find a one.

until recently , found one on ebay, have got one ordered, slightly different but close enough.+
