hi all,

pic 1, underside of ARB bullbar protective steel plate was looking a bit sad and hate how everything is painted black so no leaks show up easily. had some silver paint left over so painted the tray silver and re-installed.

pic 2, had some spare sliders that were used for an old drawer and needed something to gain better access to fridge so installed these runners for my fridge so it slides out further to gain some access from above. Accidentally the next pic occurred.

pic 3, while trying to remove the fridge and runners on full extension noticed it seats nicely on the lower tailgate which acts as a drop down slide for the fridge at a fraction of the cost and weight. very rapped with the outcome as i was previously thinking of carrying a smaller stool to stand on to gain better access to whats in the fridge. so simple so effective. alternative to drop down fridge slides. admittedly the fridge is empty at present will see how it goes with a full load. no danger of it sliding off either as you have to physically lift the rollers above the other roller to remove completely.

IMO. It may have been accidental, but will result in an even bigger accident when they break. The slides were never designed for that type of use, and I would be very surprised if they would last long under that abuse. The greater the load in the fridge, the faster I would think they will deteriorate. Drop slides were invented for a reason.
