You 2 better hide well i reckon you will be hunted ;)
Being hunted by Defender owners is fine, as long as you lot hunt us in your ratterly old leaky Fenders we have nothing to be concerned about, half will break down on the way and the other half will drown if we lead you lot through a half decent water crossing, while our feet stay perfectly dry.
Face it Discovery's rule supreme just like the t-shirt says. ... ;)

Thanks for thinking of us Terry, but a tee shirt is far too stylish, we only wear singlets and flannelette shirts. :D

Looks like you have the right bait Terry.... a little quiet though so you might need some burly ;)
Do you think you can get those shirts in a colour to match your comfy leather seats? :D

The black does match my comfy leather seats - in the Disco and the Defender. :p

No such thing as a burly Discovery driver.
You have to hand in your man card at the dealer pre-delivery!
:p
Grammar nazis, unite!
I also need to point out the lack of capitalisation of the the word 'I'.
And the complete disregard for the capitalisation of the 'Discovery' and 'Defender' pronouns.
Who said Defender drivers weren't intelligent?

burly
ˈbəːli/Submit

(of a person) large and strong; heavily built.
You my friend have obviously never seen Terry and I standing side by side

Perhaps one day we can compare muscles, talk about how much we bench and how many females we've copulated with.
Because you know, Defender driver.

Okay that's enough, hand in your defender keys and off to the patrol forum.
Defender owners are supposed to be gentlemen, and a gentlemen never tells ;)

Oh Terry. Defender owners are way too smart for that.
They shall simply put full cream milk in your latte and set the pigs free in your truffle farms.
Then tell the "environmentalists" your interiors are made from displaced Panda hides accented with Orangutan fur stitching.
There won't be a cafe left to hide in.
Still, I'm glad the D3/4 drivers have designer engine rags to match the rest of the car thoughdde07

I can handle the full cream milk in the Latte but setting pigs free in the truffle farm now that is a low act to say the least. ... :o. ;)

My guess after having just read your little self promoting diatribe is that no matter how often you work out at the gym there is one muscle you self exercise more than the rest.
You sure you don't own a Pajero? ... ;)

ok boys and girls, as most of you would know there is a little discussion going on in the D3/4/RRS section comparing the Defender to a Discovery.
... well I have some bad news, the Defender team are getting their collective arses kicked as proof that late model Disco's are far superior to their old school cousins off road keeps stacking up.
... anyway this is just a friendly reminder that it's never to late to buy a Disco t-shirt. ... ;)

So Terry, what exactly is your problem with defenders?
You have a massive axe to grind it seems.
I'm all for constructive debate, but this is getting silly and pointless
Come over the mountain to Tamworth, come wheeling in the forest, share a beer or two and enjoy some land rover camaraderie rather than just driving a wedge between 2 very passionate supporters of their respective models... there is no productive outcome from continually pushing this agenda, whatever it is...

Settle pettle, have a little sit down and take a couple of deep breaths of your dusty Tamworth air and I'm sure you will feel much better.
I find it some what ironic that the person who devotes most of his posting time on this forum to taking the **** out if everything anyone else says is getting all worked up about some friendly inter model banter.
Seriously maybe you would feel much better if you wore one of these Disco t-shirts? Tell me what size you are and if they are still available I'll send you one then you can wear it with pride out there in Toyota country.
Have a nice day ... :p

That was actually a serious question. I'm not getting my knickers in a knot over this, and likewise I couldn't give a toot what you think of me or my content that I contribute here. When one bloke starts a number of threads and posts creating a real or percieved rivalry between two models of the same make, the question needs to be asked. You know, there is an ounce of truth in every joke / witty comment.
As for taking the ****, I don't spend all my time doing it. I like to keep a balance between some tech and design ideas in my build thread in addition to my other posts. Besides, this place needs characters like me to spice it up a bit (like any forum). I play within the rules, and you have the big red ban button, so feel free to use it if I step over the line. I'm sure you'd love to get the opportunity...
Until that day, I wear a large. I've got just the spot for it in the closet next to all the other shirts I don't wear.

Perhaps the Defender drivers are busy getting out there using them for what they were designed for, and/or don't have an inferiority complex about their choice of vehicle, and therefore don't have to continuously talk themselves up!!!!! :p:D:p:D:p:D

Smile old mate, it's all meant as a bit of a laugh and is nothing other than friendly banter between two groups of punters who both believe their choice of LR model is the best choice.
As for talking up one's choice of vehicle etc I guess its not really any different to talking up one's choice of 4x4 club, don't you reckon?
We all do it ... ;)

This whole topic is comparing apples & oranges. What's the "best choice" for moving Mum, Dad & four kids around? Certainly not a Defender 90!
What's the "best choice" for a tradie who needs to carry lots of heavy materials & tools each day? Certainly not a D3,D4 or RRS!:no2:
"....it's all meant as a bit of a laugh...." . We like a laugh too. I'm sure the other Defender drivers will have a chuckie at this.:D
