Hello everyone, after a few solid days of looking I have managed to find a MY15 Defender 90 interstate and bit the bullet earlier today and bought her sight unseen... corris grey with white roof. Before I ship her to Fremantle I wanted to get some feedback on what, if any extra options some of you may deem essential, she already has leather seats, front mud flap and coloured wheel arches> but thats it..
Thanks in advance..
this is my 3rd defender, sold a 2000 130 recently still have a 97 110 tray back.

Yes it is totally cool Peter. Just need to buy app and get a ob2 bluetooth connector. That head unit has a fold out touch display so will put it on that and should look good.

That is a pretty awesome spec mate! :D

Are you getting the BAS remap locally, or from the UK via the 'remote' system ?

When does it arrive then!

Prob will take a couple months to sort everything cos I'm so busy with work. Bullbar and winch will be fitted before I get it though. See what I can do about those tires... They are budgeted in so just need to figure if they will work with the sawtooth offset. I was going to get another ecu sent from UK that is pre-programmed so is just plug and play. Keep the original unadulterated.

Gets off the boat end of this month and after all the bits are fitted I'm thinking mid feb? It has to be shipped from ACT to S.A.

I can do the small fiddly things like speakers, head unit, steering guard and extra 12v etc but will get the snorkel and chequer plate fitted professionally. Going with the Patriot 4mm black stuff

Not too much longer really!

The most common complaint from 90 owners I've spoken to is the small fuel tank, so you might want to consider a sill tank or another way of boosting capacity.

How tall are you? Seat rail extensions from Mulgo are great if you are over 6 foot. A good roof rack is essential. You would be surprised how quickly you fill up the back. If you want the best bull bar check out Murray's website Rijidij. As Murray said range is the killer. You can get two 40 litre sill tanks from Mulgo or install one of Murray's rear wheel/jerry carriers. I would consider using Dynamat or something similar to soundproof it a little. Does it have a subwoofer? If not buy one of the Pioneer units that bolt to the back of the cubby box. If you value your trousers replace the door latches with the rounded ones. I can't remember what they are called. That should get you started.

...or do nothing. Just drive and enjoy, take the time to see what you really need.

There are so many great accessories, but you may not need many beacause your 90 is already perfect! I have an ARB bullbar but only because I often drive in places with animals on the road. I have bigger Koni shock absorbers, because I drive a lot on corrugated roads. A roof rack that I only use for extended trips. An Engel fridge and second battery in smart box. Oh and I've got some awesome rubber floor mats that I made up from ribbed conveyor belt type rubber I got from Bunnings.

Great colour by the way, Corris with white roof. 👍 Enjoy!
