Springwood Land Rover in Logan City is open now - for anyone in the SE region who wants to try a different dealer for their warranty servicing.

It's a very nice looking building (with not many Land Rovers in it at the minute), shared with Jaguar.

The Springwood dealership has filled out their stock, including two D90's.
- One Corris gray or darker, one white
- Both have some kind of black pack variant:
black bonnet, black roof, different wheels, sunroof,
upgraded interior trim, front and side underbody guards.

Am I right in thinking the people behind the Springwood dealer are the Gold Coast dealer?

I think it's owned by a company called Trivett, who are dealers for various makes.

Hi DiscoMick. Seen a job advertisement for a Land Rover Technician at Springwood Land Rover. It is not the Gold Coast Land Rover behind the Springwood dealership but another large car dealership on the Gold Coast. James Frizelles Automotive. Cheers.

I move there soon so thanks for the tip. Nice to see there's an alternative to the others I've heard so much about.

Is that tinted glass I see, or is it tint film?

I didn't notice sorry. The Adventure Pack specs I can find don't mention any kind of tinting either.

Ouch. You'd have to be feeling very adventurous to fork out $72 large.

This is not Gold Coast Dealer, and if they have there parts list up to date, they will be able to offer you Genuine Series Parts. ( But I am Sure you will Think the Genuine Parts are very expensive compared to the ****ty Aftermarket ones that some people eagerly Want to sell. )

Wouldn't the kids enjoy jumping in and out of all the Land Rovers, Range Rovers, Jaguars etc. while eating ice cream and greasy snacks?

Well I'm not that sure about that.

They were supposed to service my RR and could not fix a thing and their lack of service capability is half the reason my RR is unusable.

I started getting my Land Rovers service there from 2001 and they use to have some pretty good people working for them but over the last 5 or 6 years, their "service" has become non existent.

I know that at one stage, they were having so many problems, they had to bring in people from their BMW service section, to try to sort out the mess.

Took another few pics this morning.
The sales tag says 'Privacy Glass'.
The windscreen, rear door and front door glass are all a greenish tinted glass.
The back windows are a darker tinted glass.

I know a lot of the staff have moved on over the last few years, and now they have Jaguar too, its going to be a bit of fight in there until they open the new showroom.

Cheers El Rey. Thought so. That's good news as the film really ****es me off. Something to think about for down the track when I'm flush with cash and have nothing else to spend it on, I guess.
