Talking to a land rover mechanic today, busy as ever, said that he' s glad he likes to work on them. He says the best part about newer land rovers, is, they're reliably unreliable....

It ain't just Landrovers.
There is a lot more complexity in the modern automobile nowdays. More things to go wrong.

From what I've experienced lately: "A Land Rover's reputation for unreliability is equal to how unreliable a Toyota actually is."

Exactly,but even though they are extremely complex,they are actually more reliable,in LR's case anyway:D

Actually some one told me a D4 has over 35 electronic modules.
