View Full Version : Is This Site Becoming "Slow"?

Just a wonder, I've been having increasing difficulty lately accessing "new Posts" etc & even getting into the verandah & accessing "new thread" took a few attempts?
Could be me of course, I'm the world's biggest computer nerd,.....just wondered if anyone else has had similar issues, just of late?

I was going to comment the same thing as I am currently at a house with NBN to the home and 85 mbs vs my house with 8.5 and the site is still slow to open !
It could be my old iPad 3 , but really for browsing the NBN to the home makes little difference to ADSL as the delay seems to be bandwidth of sites.
Regards Philip a
Count is 30 seconds just now to open.

Noticed it a few days ago, but it was a result of updating firefox but Adobe Flash player hadn't updated. It only seemed to be this site (or more the ads etc) that dragged things down.
Once I updated (or reinstalled - not sure which) Flash Player all was good.

Yes I have had the same. First time Firefox has done that for a few months.

Is it only on AULRO ? Towards the end of my billing month we've often gone over our monthly quota and Telstra slow us down.

I find it runs noticeably slower when the ad on the bottom right of the pane is a video ad.
When it is running slow, scroll down to the bottom, have a look on the right and see if the ad is still trying to load or is blocked.
