Anyone seen "The Chase - Australia" ???

We watch "The Chase" - original UK version, and love it.

The host - Brad Walsh - is an affable, funny, and not over-the-top bloke. Suits the role VERY well, does a great job.



Then they bring out the Australian version with that complete whackjob Andrew O'Keefe.

He doesn't shut up.
It's all about him.
He does 'accents' when asking questions (but shouldn't)
His inflection in speech is all over the place.
He is WAY over the top.
He says stupid **** a lot, and (unlike the UK one) doesn't let the "chasers" have much of a say.

****s me to tears.

Whatever he is on he needs more, or less, of it.

My son Kris was on an episode against the Governess, he was offered $60K but took his his $10 k to the final playoff with one other contestant, they had $26K between them to share, but the Governess was just too good in the final chase.

Have to agree, O'Keefe spends too much time posing for the camera and talks too fast when asking questions, with another compere the Aussie version would be very good.

That's exactly how O'Keefe behaves......like a little jack in the box. He should be pulled aside and told to tone it down a bit. I have watched both shows and Brad Walsh is far and away the best host.

ps. Just had a brainstorm......wouldn't it be good if they brought Brad Walsh out to do an Aussie series of the show.
