G'day all,

Can any of you guys with Nemesis fitted to your Defender please tell me where you mounted the converters?

I've already been given a few good tips by R2D2 (who I've just bought these from and who was incredibly helpful throughout), but I'm hoping one of you kind souls may have some pictures you could share showing alternative locations.

Fred Nerk's bracket in his D4 looks like a great idea but I'm not sure where I could fit it, and as I'm a long way from my car and aim to do the install the day I get home I want to get things straight in my head now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

In the battery box works nicely ;)

Cheers Tombie (didn't know you were back. This is good news for everyone).

A few issues spring to mind there.

1. My battery box is chockers already with two batteries (one a big bugger of a Narva) and a DBS along with all sorts of misc wiring.

2. Paul at Fyrlyt told me I should keep the run from the converters to the lights as short as possible.

3. With the Traxide loom I'm using wouldn't that mean I'd have to run a cable all the way from the wheel arch (or wherever I stick that up forward) back to the battery box and then all the way up forward again?

I've been told airflow is a good thing, and that somewhere in behind the grille but mounted as high as possible is what I should aim for. I just don't know what will fit best as I have no way of eyeballing this where I am right now.

Thanks.

Never left - did state I was just going to sit back a while [emoji106][emoji41]

You can mount them onto the inner guards, or fab a bracket for them up front.

Short runs are to keep loss to a minimum...
