EGR plug

Hi all quick question, what's the trick to getting the grey electrical plug off the egr valve, I had it off a couple of weeks ago, and that time I popped it up with a small flathead screwdriver, I think I must have fluked it that time but I'm buggered if I can get it off today, I'll bet there is a very easy way.

I take it you've got a 2.2/2.4?
As you said, a small flat blade does it. You need to insert it vertically (i.e. parallel to the wires) into the little slot in the clip. It should release very easily, depending on how much you've damaged it.
Disclaimer: Its early, haven't had breakfast and going from memory!

Yep a 2.4, I had tried as you said but the suckers on good and proper.
