Watching the British Show "Pointless", on which a brother and sister pair in their 20s was competing as one of the teams.

Category: Assassinations.

The girl is up first.

Q: (Name the person who was) Assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald in Dallas.

Her answer.....

"J.R" :lol2:

The host: Well I thought that was going to be a correct answer... (dissolves in laughter). Then with a straight face "Let's see if J.R. is right"
"Sorry it's incorrect, but thank you for giving us a really good laugh"

So some short while later it's her brothers turn.

Q: (Name the person who was) French Revolutionary stabbed in the bath by Charlotte Corday.

His answer.....

Joan of Arc. :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: FMD !

Host: "Umm, OK. Joan of Arc. Umm, she was revolutionary....
And after it was shown to be wrong the co-host said" "She was burned at the stake, Joan of Arc, which is quite the opposite of being stabbed in the bath".

So another contestant decided he'd have a crack at that same question, So which French Revolutionary did he choose......

Napoleon Bonaparte :lol2: This is the gift that keeps on giving.. :D

For the rest of the show the co-host used the Dallas answer as a running joke.
Stating for example that Abraham Lincoln was shot in "Knots Landing" and that Joan Collins was famously in "Dynasty" where she assassinated Franklin D Roosevelt !

Yeah it's a great show. Not links mate, smilies but I think they are from a private forum, so I'll change them.

Phew - got the first one right. Didn't know the second, but recognised the name when I looked it up.
