I dropped the tray off for the dealer to fit to my new 130 today. Managed to take some pictures in the rain.

Looks great !
Same colour as my 2012 130, but I don't have traction control or leather seats unfortunately...

Love the colour, very nice! Looking forward to seeing how it all looks when the tray is fitted.

I do like the Aintree. There is something inherently right about a dark green Landy.

Beautiful. And with its British heritage even the rain looks right on it.

Looks good tote, who's doing the tray? Drop me a line if you need help with the tray mounting..been down the path of incorrect design and mounting on a few of my 130s..

The tray is a second hand one that I bought a couple of months ago. http://www.aulro.com/afvb/90-110-130-defender-county/224503-tray-dilemma.html

I'm not at all sure that the colour is goint to look any good so I'll probably pull it off and spray it black when I get it home, I can resolve any mounting issues then.

Are those horrible rims better than the LR HD Ones?

No Idea, that's the vehicle that the tray came off, not mine :)

Very nice mate!

Make sure you keep the piece of wood and lights that is mounted to the rear! It's pretty rare, straight from the factory. They talked about it on the Celebration Tour that I went on at the factory last year... and how is almost stuck on 'Heath Robinson' style just so the truck can legally be driven on roads!

Quite a momento to have in your home bar I reckon! :)

And make sure you get your rear mudflaps too.

Very nice 130 there are you leaving the flat bed or going down the camper style route....??

I'm looking to build a pod I can put on the back for trips but ultimately it needs to be a work vehicle for the farm as well as a tourer.

I've got a set of those horrible rims 16x7, if anyone wants them. Nowhere near as good as LR HD ones. But you can put fat tyres on them if you must.

Beautiful 130 Tote.

Well, it's registered and home. Thanks to the Guys at Lennock Canberra who did their best to make it a good experience despite a few delays.

Now the fun begins.....

Things to do:
Fit my personalised plates
Remove and paint the tray black
Fit the bullbar
Fit the towbar
Update the firmware on the bluetooth
Fit the winch
Get an overhead console and fit the UHF
Fit the seat corner protectors
Fit the Alpine Sub to the back of the cubby box
Build a pod for touring
Buy some Dynamat and fit it
Make some rock sliders / steps

The list goes on, I think I'll start a new thread in the projects section for documenting all the work. Driving home was an interesting experience, a bit like getting in an 8 ton rental truck and figuring out it's quirks......about halfway home I settled into the groove and started enjoying the drive. The Puma motor has much more torque than my Disco 2 did and happily holds sixth on the highway. It's also a much smoother ride that SWMBO's Wrangler.
SWMBO reckons that I'll miss the Disco 3 within six months or so but I'm not sure, the kids loved the vantage point sitting so high although they did reckon it was a bit noisy at freeway speeds.

Wow, real nice 130 you have yourself there!

I'll be sure to wave if we cross paths when you cross the boarder next time haha.

How were the guys at Lennock? I'm on the look out for someone to do work to my TD5 and good Landy mechanics are hard to come by. I'm wary of dealers but I know they aren't all rip off merchants.

Hi Tote,

I saw your vehicle in the flesh on Friday when I collected my 110 from the service yard. Looks very nice indeed. Congrats :D
