Well today I finally had the bullbar /winch bar fitted and I can only say I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED
First thing original fitting date postponed after finding the wrong fitting kit supplied
Today
Left car with company and asked that were they aware of disco traits "yeah all good"
Picked up this afternoon
Flares not fitted or attached at front of vehicle (both nearly fell of when touched)
Front bar destroyed to get front sensor brackets off😬
Winch control lever almost unreachable
Drove off then found camera and sensors disabled!!! They have admitted that they switched it on without the sensors connected
Have now found bar is incorrect colour after ordering and paying for colour coded bar
NOT HAPPY

That is pretty poor service especially when you have gone to the trouble of asking if they are squared away on knowledge. Makes you wonder what you can't see of the "work" they've done. Don't let them get away with it.

I hope it gets sorted out to your satisfaction Bob.

Sorry to hear about all the hassles that is pretty crap. Re the winch clutch lever, mine is like that too on the ARB bar it is fiddly to get the finger in there to the lever. I don't think that one is their fault.

Every experience I have had with ARB has been bad... The only reason I have there bar on my disco is because it came with it, check that they cut your flairs the same length, mine are 20mm out with each other and the 2yr bar is starting to rust !!!!

The story continues!!!!
After making arrangements for the installation company to book into Land Rover Newcastle on Friday for the vehicle to be looked at on Monday AM re the lack of reversing camera and sensors it transpires that L:R Newcastle can't look at it for a week!!!
Contacted the parent company who said "bring it over here and we will see what we can do"
Off I go , arrive and their staff take one look at it and agree "pretty poor Job"

Wiring not run correctly/ wrong location/ messy installation.
Check with their machine and cannot find fault!! has them stumped and fair enough they did not do the job but said "look bring it back next week and we will talk to the boss and see what can be done"

New scan tool arrived and after setting it up found inner right sensor not working consequently no camera either

Much investigation /remove all bottom panels and low and behold broken yellow wire in loom (had been stretched to breaking point) Investigation further reveals the following:-
1. the wiring for the outer sensors was extended but not the inner,
2. Fitter stretched wiring to plug into main loom as he had run wires in incorrect manner causing the failure of the sensor cable
3. refitting lower panels reveals that bar is not even installed correctly as the panels do not line up (fitter had pushed and stretched parts to fit causing inner guard to twist out of alignment

So it will be a very pointed phone call wednesday morning with quite a few choice words about their level of "service and quality of workmanship"
:censored::angrylock:

Interesting point though is , what qualifications do the people fitting these things and what are the qualifications of their supervisory staff especially as these people are working on some pretty complex vehicles now and what are the consequences if something goes horribly wrong resulting in death or injury to someone let alone the physical damage to a vehicle that is worth upwards of $80-90K

There was a problem with 3 windows not closing on one touch operation
Found that if you disconnect the battery they will "forget their mode"
resetting is quite easy , once you know the trick" which is ,close window completly release switch and then select first stop on raising operation and hold wait for clicking and voila!! auto close now operates (you have to do it to each window)
Will be interesting to see what they offer seeing as I have solved their problem 5 hrs labour at least on my part and they have yet to correct their workmanship
