Crescent Pliers

Recently I bought a new pair of "Crescent" 12" fencing pliers made in Taiwan in my local hardware store. Next to it was hanging a pair of "Crescent" universal pliers made in Austalia. Are Crescent tools still being manufactured in Australia or are they NOS? When I was working as an electrician in the 60s and 70s "Crescent" pliers were regarded as the Rolls Royce of pliers but they were all made in USA, if I remember rightly. .W.

Just checked the last pair of 10" Crescent fencing pliers I bought and they are made in USA .The pair of Crescent uni sidecutters (yellow handle 8") that I have had since Jesus played wing and they are made in Australia.
