I thought people might like to see my truck which I have been modifying and setting up for a trip from my home in Mandurah to our new home somewhere around the Sunshine Coast. We have a 3/4 month trip around the coast in search of waves, fish, and hopefully some good craic.
We set off about 5 weeks ago and we are just about to leave for Tazzie.
6000 km done so far and the turbo popped a hose which was an easy fix, last week the rear leaf lost a shackle which I managed to replicate using some steel I had as spares until I found an engineer who made me a proper replacement for $20, at the moment my problem is the flatness of my rear springs which are flattening since having them retempered before leaving. So I bought an extra leaf and will attempt to fit that soon.
Ps I Can't upload more than yin photo

Looks awesome. Good luck with the trip!

Very keen to know more about the baby/toddler seat install. I imagine my 101 will see very little use in the coming months due it being unable to seat our little one (only 11 weeks atm) so interested to see if the seat was expensive/difficult to sort out. If you got it done in WA I'd be very interested in who did the job for you. Feel free to PM me if you want.

Cheers,
Stu
