Team I have a set of spotlights to install on my MY15 TDV6 D4 and I need to get some wiring. I saw on the Traxide website that Tim sells a Combo Headlight and DL upgrade kit, has anyone used this on a D4? Is there a benefit to the headlight brightness? Any issues with the D4 computer trickery being upset?
It is my one complaint about my D4 that the headlights are a bit weak, so if I can get a benefit for their brightness while also installing the spotlights sounds like a win win to me!:D
I did PM Tim but he must be busy so I thought I'd see if the brains trust here has any experience.
Thanks.

I would imagine that you will only see an improvement in the headlight performance if your D4 has the halogen headlights, and not the Bi-xenon option.
If that is the case, I am very confident that any kit sold to you by Drivesafe will give you the results he claims, and you will NOT have any issues with the electronics etc on your vehicle if you install the kit as per Tim's instructions. Tim understands the Discovery electrics and systems better than anyone I know, and his products are designed specifically for the vehicle.
I have one of his dual battery systems installed in my D4 - best addition I have made to the vehicle by far. ;)

Thanks Guys, I didn't realise he did a spot light only kit, definitely all I need if the D4 lights aren't up for a bit more juice.

Kieren.
Tim doesnt supply a switch with the kit.I suggest you look for a "mouse switch".I got an IPF branded one from an ARB store.
Much easier to find a place to fit one;););););)

Good thanks Scott, went the full size Rhino Rack with the RLTP legs. Bit noisy but I noticed the bars that the legs mount to are open on the under side, going to tape them up and see if it helps.
