Don't know what the PO was hoping, it didn't work... putting a rear Air adjustable - rate ? - shocks from a different model or car into an older/cheaper Ford Exploder to get around the minor detail of knackered leaf springs...
Car was presented to me by son #1 due to my success with the Rangie Air suspension. :D:p:D
Took the sensible way out, advised to put back to 'standard' and have springs re-set, as the bodgy shockies were leaking down... To make it worse, they were 'T'eed into one filler-valve... From my mis-spent youth, this arrangement is anything but sensible, especially as the piping is 5mm ID, not the tiny 0.7mm capilliary stuff Monroe/Wylie supplied with their 'Pump-Up' shocks.
Alas, silken purse from sow's ear....and all that. Pics say it all...:o
