I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with a rough idea of the year of this Series 1. Apologies I only had time for a quick look and don't have any numbers but do have a couple of photos.

x2 ----This is what Jeff Carter had to say about dual rear wheels: "Fitting dual rear wheels was an ill advised experiment and resulted in broken axles"

Probably less likely on the semi-floating axles, especially on the swb. But I can think of a few other bits likely to break, including the rear wheel bearings.

So what's it worth? It's in a paddock near me and has been for at least the last five years. Obviously the body is rough but it looks mostly original if neglected.

Series 1s are appreciating in value, so I would guess that if the chassis and bulkhead are fairly rust free, it could be close to $1,000. If there is a significant rust problem, maybe a few hundred.
