Ages ago i was given a Soligor 200mm f/3.5 prime with a 2x tele converter (thank you simon!)
so in a perfect world, in round figures, on a dx, what does that give me?
(apart from needing a decent tripod to get around shaky pics :p)
TIA

Effective field of view would be the same as a 300 mm prime (200 x1.5)
oops missed the 2x convertor :P
2X convertor will reduce light by 2 stops.
So by my calculations 600mm f/7.1 :D
