Its damn surprising what you miss when you dont have it :(

My 2011 D4 SE came minus the reversing camera - can anyone please recommend a good aftermarket model I can get installed please? I have a caravan with a reversing camera built in so integration with this is also required.

My thoughts are a simple monitor mounted just left of the dial/speedo pod with all the wires hidden (I hate things sticking out of my 12v cigarette lighter).

And if anyone knows or can recommend a good installer on the Gold Coast it would be appreciated. Or can any decent auto elec do it?

Do you have the touchscreen - it seems you can add camera & get configure file updated.
I'd stay away from car sound places that don't know Landies - they have quirks that the Japanese makes don't have

Also if you are looking for a mount I can recommend clic-on - they have a mount that locks into the dash (no screws) about the location you mention - I use it for holding my phone (is modular so can adapt to hold lots of things) and is rock solid

Unfortunately no touch screen in my model and I've been told that this negates any install to the inbuilt system.

If you want to install a reversing camera - but don't have a touchscreen, you could use one of these and view it on your smartphone/tablet:
iPhone Android iPad WIFI car backup camera (http://www.4ucam.com/iphone-android-ipad-WIFI-Backup-Camera.html)

It sends signal via wifi - so no wires to run to front.
