Yesterday, just 4 months before the warranty expires (phew) I hear this loud gash of air while I accelerated and thought the turbo hose went.
I checked the hoses and all looked fine.
Likely I was 7km from MCL in port Melbourne, drove it slowly over the city link and the mechanic gave the news, "intercooler split" wow !!
Now out of action for a week.

They said that they had some go the same way.

Well I now suspect it is made in either UK or China because they would have the same QA standards[emoji51]

I suppose the question is: would this be a rare occurrence ?

Don't know how common but I have an intercooler sitting around after upgrading to the Allisport ...

Thanks, but the 110 is still under warranty and no cost involved.
