Hi all,

I've had my HSE SD4 for 5 months now. Done about 6,000km. Very happy with it. Needed a car straight away as I changed jobs and had to give company car back. Took a car in stock at another dealer so I didn't have to wait. It has the following options:

Coris Grey
Black pack and contrasting roof
20 inch wheels
Solar windscreen and HUD
Rear cross traffic alert and blind spot monitoring system
Rear window privacy glass
Fixed glass panoramic sunroof

I didn't want some of these items but it's what was available at the time.

Good stuff:
Design
Solid and safe feel
Off road ability
Economy for the size (currently 8ltrs per 100km)
Heaps of engine torque
Interior space

Not so much:
Engine turbo lag
Motor showing its age (NVH)
Stop/Start feature (turn it off every time I get in)

I have already taken it for some basic off-road trips and was impressed by how well it handled corrugated dirt roads. Also went along to the complementary Land Rover Experience drive day and was amazed at what the car can do.

Just looking for a good tow bar (read less expensive than LR) that I can put a bike carrier rack on to rather than putting the bike in the car.

Feel free to ask any questions about the car.

Thanks, Mick.

Was thinking of getting a better set of off-road tyres. Having a look at the Pirelli Scorpion A/T's. Seem to be one of the better priced 20inch tyres. Anyone have other suggestions?

Mick, not sure of your tyre size but these seem to be getting good feedback in 20":
