300tdi Expansion Tank Pressure

Hi Everyone,

So I've still got a minor "P" gasket leak (very annoying) so I'm checking the coolant on a monthly basis.

Is it normal to get a small release of pressure when you open the expansion tank cap when the engine is cold?

I check the coolant after the vehicle has sat overnight.

Yes.
Mine does it although i think it would be vacumn not pressure
