Hi People style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif

My disco seems a little rough at lidle, the revs hover round 700-750rpm and drops when I turn on air con.

Does anyone know if adjusting the fast idle screw should fix this problem?

Is this a simple case of adjusting the screw only ?

Thanx in advance

Hi Greggo,

I can't be sure now, but I think there is a link that picks up the idle when the air con cuts in to hold the rpm where it was. Its been a while, but start there first.

Hi,

My 300tdi disco does this too. Seems to have a low idle when air con on in drive at the lights etc. Idle seems to lope. (hunt up and down) This improves with air con switched off. I test drove another disco that did the same!

Can this be improved?
Is it just a matter of adjusting the idle speed?

Cheers
