Off air for a couple of days

I don't expect to be on for the next few days, as I am having a hernia operation tomorrow. Certainly don't expect to be posting anything tomorrow - have to be on the road about 0630, and even if I can post from hospital doubt I'll be up to it tomorrow.

Maybe on Friday, depends - I don't have a smartphone, so can't use my phone.

Recovered sufficiently this afternoon to break out the laptop and find the hospital has wifi for patients.

Up to this afternoon it has been too painful to move, but getting a bit better. Then had a number of visitors and was encouraged to walk round, so have only just got on the 'net'.

Got home OK. Going to be a very quiet few weeks - I am not supposed to drive for a fortnight. I have my d-i-l here looking after me for the next week. Should be able to look after myself by then.
