Got a pop top caravan?
on facebook?
https://www.facebook.com/groups/thepoptopcaravanlounge/
am starting a group on their just for poptops as there really doesn't seem to be any caravan groups other than cheap camps and grey nomad type stuff
buy and sell as well as social chatter, hints and tips sort of stuff
love to see any owners manuals etc for various models as there really isn't much history on them floating around...
it's a closed group to try and keep it habitable
say hello on there if interested...

Can me and my little camper trailer come visit sometimes please, I promise I wont post a pic on there of it. :D
There's actually quite a few trailer/camping type pages I've visited/joined which are really helpful. Not only do they have some really good info on fixes etc, they also share some really cool places to visit, and of course the links just keep on going on.
I hope yours does really well Dave, good luck with it all,,, man your gunna be a busy boy :D

by all means come and visit..... just because the primary focus is vans doesn't mean that some of the wisdom doesn't cross over...

The is a very popular caravan forum
Caravaners Forum - Index page (http://caravanersforum.com/)
sadly the admin are a bunch of morons ( to put it kindly ). Though it's active you'll have no chance of getting any common sense out of anyone over there.
I know your 'van is a bit modern, but the "real" people that seem to feature some common sense and a good DIY approach to stuff seem to congregate here :)

Would be great. I just used mine for a week. 1980's Golf Tourer pop top. Great to tow with independent suspension. I stowed 2 X 2.8m long yaks in her...I had put tie down loops in the floor on the each side of the bed (bring on the jokes) and also at the front near the table for the fridge. Nothing moved. Great storage space.

I thought it was an accepted practice that when travelling light, everything should have at least 2 functions/purposes. :D

I ran the 3 way on 240v and likewise the Ironman 50litre. Plenty of room for the family the 5. the kids loved the annexe...had a couple of storms and no leaks. PVC floor was good...all sealed up and valance between van and pvc floor. The Annexe and all gear went onto the van with room to spare. The old poptops had heaps of room.
I would like to add some tags to the outside arm of the Annexe and accross the top of the front roof of the van and add my small tarp with a couple of poles to make an outdoor porch area that i could BBQ under with the webber and sit under. Wouldnt be hard. Good place to keep chairs out of the rain also...love customising.
Cheers
