Around about June/July this year I will be fulfilling one of my life's ambitions and travelling to WA in my ex army 6x6 perentie to do some gold prospecting. At this stage my planned route is Sarina to Cunnamulla to Broken Hill then across the Nullabor to Kalgoorlie/Leonora. I will have room for almost anything anyone wants moved in either direction.

I've given up on that one Andy, the only way I am going to get rich is if I find it myself!!:D

Yes, got all the major things done Ean, you wouldn't know it now from the bare truck you picked up for me. It now has aircon, onboard air system, Detroit no spin lockers in both rear diffs with hi tuff axles, a trutrac soon to go in the front, and long range fuel tank and water tank plus the proper canopy and tarp on the rear. Also upgraded the exhaust to 3" and tweaked the fuel a little, and running on biodiesel - smells like mackerel at the exhaust:D:D:D

Lucky barsket. A ACed no hurry trip. You might as well head up to the Pilbara and come back through the Tanami and Alice.

Not sure which way home at this stage Pete, I have allowed 6 weeks and looking at 5-6 days travelling each way. 10-12 hrs driving a day - big days in a 6by. Would love to go via the Plenty and Warburton/Gunbarrel and return via the Pilbara but don't think I will have time for both - maybe one!!
