G'day everyone ,I received my new nanocom evo yesterday and registered it this morning and keen to see how it works. I went to my 98 SE parts car and thought I would have a go at clearing the eas hard fault and reset the eas system. I hooked up the evo to the SE and sure enough it gold me that lhf sensor was out of range ,so I cleared the fault ,but within seconds the fault came back....I then remembered reading about setting blocks to set the heights of the eas (which I do not have !)....this is when I stopped and had a think and scrolled through the evo menu to settings, which to my joy displayed all the saved height settings of the vehicle and all the current settings. I took photos of all the stored setting values, just in case a stuffed them up, and noticed that the current settings showed that the lhf sensor height was way lower than the others so I grabbed a jack and jacked up the lh front a little then went back to the evo and exited the settings ,then went back into settings to do a fresh read of the heights... I had to do this step twice adjusting the jack height both times to get the sensor height in range...I then scrolled back to clear eas faults and SUCCESS !!.....fault cleared and eas pumped up to standard height perfectly in a couple of minutes ,without the use of setting blocks...hope this trick is of help to some of you out there ,Cheers, Rob.

I had to do that on a friends P38 up here once.

After installing an EAS bypass kit, we pumped up the bag manually, reset the fault and away he went! Much easier and quicker than jacking!

Thanks for sharing!
