Yep, they are finally making the film,,
why they are doing only one, and starting it from halfway through the series is strange---
I think the choice of Mathew McConaughey for Randall Flag is inspired.
Idris Elba? well we'll have to wait and see,, but not what I pictured The Gunslinger to be,,
I wonder what Hollywood will do with the ending?

Pedro is talking in tongues again. I've never heard of those people nor the other references!

I think Idris Elba is a good actor. What are your concerns?
A Shephen King story. It will be delightfully weird. Star Wars started halfway through. Looking forward to it.
The rest may be covered in the TV series, if they eventually make it.
Ron, you need to get out more.

I thought Idris Elba was a place like Elba in Tuscany.

If you get a chance, Ultraviolet, BBC miniseries (1998).
Idris Elba was on a team disposing of vampires. Jack Davenport was a policeman investigating the death of his friend who, unbeknownst to him, was a vampire who had been despatched.
I liked it so much, I bought it on DVD.

I once tried watching Seinfeld but, like so many American sitcoms, found it so unfunny, I turned it off.

Yes, Ron, it was unfunny. But it wasn't about funny people.
It was about the situations these selfish, nasty, narcissistic characters got themselves into because they are selfish, nasty, narcissistic people
I wasn't a big fan but I appreciate the genius of the people involved in it.

I've only known him from Luther, which although haven't seen too many episodes loved.
Hmmm, another series I'll have to visit kickass for when my internet account rolls around again on the 23rd.
