Anyone Have a Cigarette Lighter?

Anyone else have a ciggy lighter instead of a power plug? No ashtray though and the ciggy lighter plug surround is lit up when the lights come on!

Its not an ashtray.Mine has a no smoke butts symbol.

Yeah it's just rubber lined. I use it for coins. It's a 1/2 a smokers pack with the lighter and no ashtray.

If its like some other cars I have been in, the ashtray will be directly below the aircon vent , so when you pass the vent with your fag, the ash ends up all over the people in the back seat.


My mate had a lexus and that's exactly what his was like.

I know that Andy, seeing as the tray was not pulled out I was not to know one way or the other, I just thought that Dave could not find it. Given that the lighter was there I assumed the smokers tray would have been optioned in.

In retrospect it is so obvious that no one would miss it - sorry for doubting your powers of observation Dave!:D

You could use an ashtray cup.... This is the VW unit but there must be many of this type around.

I don't smoke so I'm not concerned about the ashtray. I just haven't seen any others with a lighter. They could have given me memory seats instead!! Lol

Chuck the lighter and replace with a dual USB socket.
Much more useful.
