On the way home from the shooting trip on Sunday we were heading out of Kandos, and about 10km out there is a one lane bridge, which the people heading in our direction have right of way on. As i approach this bridge I always slow down because alot of people dont give way. Well it was lucky i did this time, a brand new 100 series cruiser came around the corner and didnt look to be slowing down, i hit the high beam and flashed him, nothing he kept on coming, i gave him the finger, nothing he keeps on coming, i just got off the bridge in time, but Sniperator and Zook were behind me, the cruiser just drove onto the bridge and they met him half way, luckily there was just enough room to squeeze past, it could have been nasty. Some people just drive around with their head up there arse, there was a freaking give way sign and a big white line on the road. What did god give these people eyes for, it certainly wasnt to make their face prettier. Matt

Tis only a cruiser. you guys could have pushed it off the bridge if things realy came to push and shove style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif
Its fairly common behaviour realy. We have a narrow bridge in town but it is two lanes but no markings. Amazing how many locals try to drive in the middle of it when you are there as well.

GET IN OR GET OUT OF THE WAY!
isnt that how the add goes???
maybe it was scrubby taking his new 4x4 for a drive after realising the faults of his ways???
id like to see that!

I would have just driven down the middle of the bridge and forced him to stop and back up. Done it before, and will do it again. There are rules for a reason, if dickhead drivers don't wish to obey them, well I'll just let them run into me. Rosemary could do with a coat of paint, why not let some ******* insurance pay for it.

That was how I used to handle parking lots on my old car. I've been known to sit there leaning on the wheel staring the other driver down for quite some time before the give up and reverse back out of the way.

Why be a (land) driver when you can be a (land) cruiser?

That's why I pay insurance, I'll get the courtesy car on my insurance, and get the vehicle repaired then they can chase the other drivers insurance company for the money. All at no cost to me and with little hassle.
Worked a treat when a silly woman pulled out in front of the Honda on a wet afternoon and got herself T-Boned

I was off the bridge before he got on, if i had been where Simon or Zook were in the que i would have stopped in the middle of the bridge, gotten out, grabbed him by the hair dragged him to the give way sign and smacked his head into it. Its not like its hidden or anything. Matt

Better still I will come along next time with our jaws of life gear and after you have finished bashing his toy motor with the landy we can cut it up with the jaws. Oh I forgot its a toy motor we could just use a pair of tin snips. Then throw the remains in the river.

Kitchen scissors would do the trick. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif
I know Zook, thats what makes it more irritating. The fact that he didnt see two of them, and that he didnt think "Ooh, i wonder if my big 4wd and these other 3 big 4wd's coming towards me will fit on this one lane bridge", regardless of who had right of way, its easier for 1 to stop than 3 and we were already committed to the bridge. The point I think that you're all missing here is that you were rerturning from a shooting trip :!:
How many holes did his Toymotor have in its back end after you'd stopped. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif
Here's a funny one, my parents were up around Cape Cuvier somewhere fishing (you west Aussies will know where I mean) quite some years ago, some young fellows showed up in a brand new cruiser wagon. Crissed as pickets one night they decided to go shooting bunnies, let off a few rounds at one particular rabbit, missed the thing altogether, but awoke the next morning with a few new air holes in the side of their new wagon style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

I dont know if anyone has read the letters section of 4wd monthly yet, but there was a funny letter in there about a German couple stuck on the beach somewhere in WA. The couple called the police and this copper (the one who sent in the letter) arrived to find it well and truely stuck. He checked the freewheeling hubs and they werent locked in, so he did that. He then asked if it was in 4wd, highly insulted the guy in the drivers seat abuse the cop in german, presumably because the copper insulted his inteligence. The cop instructed the german bloke to try and drive out (it was a suziki sierra hire car) nothing was happening with the front wheels so the copper asked the german bloke to show him how he was engaging 4wd. He then pressed the A/C button and said "See All Conditions" style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif
