hello guys ,with eng change out,does ecu automatically sense this and recalibrate itself or should incomming engines orig ecu be fitted as to not create any further issues ,needing diagnostic resetting ect ect,i know very little about computer issues with these if anything computerised for that matter ,any advice greatly appreciated, regards daryl:angel::(:angel::confused::censored::wasntme:

AFAIK its all good,,
The car shouldnt realise an engine swap has happened.

The cheaper second rebuild is great,,
all 4.6's should go like mine:cool:

No, but I did my research much better ( I didnt rely on my Mechanic to know everything and I actively gave him hard data, and then we discussed everything and I made the decisions) and looked over the shoulder of the guy that did.;)
