Coming up on the redeye on Monday, going back Thursday last flight. Monday night is out, but others are options.
Yes, a night drive might be too much to hope for given the time, but just interested to see who is around.

A start could be a quiet ale with some AULRO types at the Lord Nelson (beer brewed on the premises) in the Rocks.

That's a good thought too but need to check if it is still a viable concern. It would be closer to a chinese nosh up in China Town.

Yep, that'd be good. I'm teaching a course and no doubt there'll be an official dinner one night, I'll find out which one. Thursday would definitely work, just got to get to the airport later.

Hmmm.... If you wanted to get down there early, I might be able to drop by before I go out. I can't make any definate plans until Monday but it would be something along the lines of getting there for 17:30 as I'll probably have to be in town for 19:00.
Anyone up for that?
