I am now selling the Joseph Lyddy Dry Seal canvas treatment through the AULRO emporium. a 1 litre tin will treat a lwb canopy if done correctly.

How thick/ heavy is it? I was just wondering if it would be any good for a swag or would it be overkill and stiffen it too much.

you thin it as needed.

i have used it on a heap of canvas products of many different thicknesses now.

thin lightweight canvas you thin with turps to 60% turps / 40% dryseal

on heavy truck tarps you can use it straight out of the can

landrover softops (AU army type) would be a 50/50 mix from experience.
English canvas goes well at 60% dryseal / 40% turps.

it hasnt gone hard or brittle on any canvas product i have used it on. I used it on my old cotton tent and it lasted for years and years.
