My L322 has a BMW MK4 DVD player fitted instead of the original MK3 CD player for the GPS system. It's also running the BMW V32 firmware (shows 4-1/00 on the top right of the screen).

As a result, the splash screen shows as BMW not Land Rover.

Has anyone done the same but tweaked the firmware to have the LR splash screen?

It seems one can do it with a program called Navtweaks so, if no one has already done it, I'll give it a try. I did see a version of the firmware with speed cameras etc that has the M series splash screen. Maybe I could run that. :D

I also managed to find a copy of the 2013 maps V19 (High) on the 'net and am now running those. V21 (2016) is still $350!

Oh, one disadvantage of the MK4 is the loss of the off-road navigation.

Matt Stevenson in the UK has modified the V32 firmware file with the RR splash screen and I'm downloading it right now. :)

I'll install it tomorrow.

My splash screen no longer shows BMW, it now has:

Any chance of copy or link for this firmware download?

The firmware is available from the downloads section of Matt Stevenson's site. Matt apparently did the mods to change the splash screen:

MyRangeRover.co.uk | the power to take you anywhere (http://www.myrangerover.co.uk/)

The site seems to be up and down.

Did you ever get a copy? If not, I can put it up on Dropbox.
