Hi guys,
I was in the 4x4 perentie reversing up a hill with the centre diff lock in, I lost a little traction then a loud clunking noise and almost complete loss of reverse. Took it to mechanics, they've inspected through a cover on the side of the gear box, reverse gear is chewed and stripped as well as the shaft. So it's either a rebuild or drop a second hand in... Second hand would be cheaper if it available.. Anyone have a spare Lt95 lying round? Any suggestions?
Man I've had a run of bad luck recently...

Ah man, that sucks. Especially after you only just got it back after that accident debacle.

Gearboxes have been going at auction fairly regularly. not sure what prices they have been selling for vs a new/rebuilt one.

Just being curious, were you on tarmac or a loose surface?

Loose facing trees and a cliff edge on a slope with a 3/4 steering
