Front air bag (ONLY) on ebay

can anyone shed light on these? I was under the impression that the strut and the bag cannot be separated (easily)

Note....i dont need them, but could be handy to have one laying around as a spare

When my fronts needed doing I looked at doing this, but at 200,000KM I was also pretty sure my struts were past their use by date, so I bought whole new ones. I suppose if you burst or split one and your shocks were ok, this would be an option.

Im in a similar boat.

My EAS is working well.

However, at 251,000 km I think Im on borrowed time. I think I will replace the fronts before the next trip away.

I've decided to bite the bullet and buy new Delphi struts from the UK as I didn't want to get get caught needing replacements from JLR at twice the price. The next question is have them ready and see how long I get out of them or replace now? The L322 is nearly 9 years old with 256,000km.

Is there a difference that you know of ?

A different Part number won`t always mean a part won`t fit .

I don`t know and ours were replaced not that long ago by Gav so i`m not going to need any for a while , i hope .

Arnotts , quote the OE number RNB000750 for 06 -12 which strictly would be an up to 06 number . ( left unit )
They also quote OE RNB000740 as the right 06-12 which is also an up to 06 #.


The OP has found a bag to suit 2003-9 , the seller says .

His is 06 as far as i know which has some different bits to ours but the M57 and GM are still there .

The Brisbane Arnotts distributor said they thought differences were minor, when I was considering a refurbed unit. But ultimately recommended against fitting one. In the end I also wanted a new shock not just a new air spring.

8 - 10 years seems to me when most forum reported failures happen. Some last 12 years.

I'm doing a 5000km trip in Jan. So I think I might just change them over as I don't want any dramas. There are some minor cracks in the air springs.

None that i`ve seen differentiate between petrol and diesel same numbers , only supercharged and ADS .

This one give 02-06 in the heading but gives 07 as well .
