G'day mates!
It's been a while now, I know, but I guess life takes its toll on all of us style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif . By now you guys must be approaching spring time which is a great thing. For us autumn is getting closer with big steps (which isn't that bad either).
We had a Landrover friend from Oz visiting us some weeks ago who brought us news from Down Under. This fuels our memories and the desire to return to Aussieland at some point 8) .
In the meantime... we bought a new house on almost an acre of land, out in the country with a garage of 150 sqm (!!!). Now that makes keeping the stock rolling much easier. We only have to sell our present property first (AULRO members will get a discount  )pic (http://www.bostad.dn.se/bostadsborsen/sok/results/NPI-object_Frame.asp?newWin=1&objektid=3088686&service=HemnetToGP&area=8&caller=main).
In the meantime, I came around an idea to get over the time until we come to Oz again. By starting a kind of business, that is. As all of you know there are plenty of high quality offroad products available in Australia, designed to withstand the most adverse conditions in the outback and elsewhere. To the folks here in Europe most of them are unknown (with the noteable exception of ARB products and the like). The stuff available here otherwise is mostly inferior in quality to the Australian build and sold items.
Now, how about importing a range of genuine Aussie products and selling them to a fair price to fellow Landy owners? I'm not interested in making big bucks, rather in offering superior quality to a fair price (and, in turn, supporting Aussie companies).
Anyone around here who has some experience? All comments and sugegstions appreciated.
Cheers
