Went to do the oil filters today, undid one bolt on the centrifuge cover, went to undo the second and it broke off. It had been replaced at some time BUT who ever the mongrel was who fitted it had filed the top 5mm of thread down so it was only 2mm thick. No wonder it broke off. Why would you do that!! Simple 5 min job turned into removing the turbo and air-cond compressor so i could lift the centrifuge body up enough to get the rest of the bolt out. Can't undo the drain pipe as the bolts are too tight and the the heads rounded off. Didn't have the right size O ring so i couldn't reassemble the body back to the block. So wasted a whole afternoon because of some moron mechanic. :censored:
