Transport from Melbourne to Sydney required

Hi Guys,

i'm trying to get parts from Melbourne (Seaford) to Sydney where i live (power steer box, oil lines and oil reservoir) which are for my son and was wondering if anyone was doing this travel any time soon and is willing to pick up these parts for a fee.

I can pick up anywhere in Sydney :)

What sort of time frame are you looking at? I can certainly get them from Seaford to the Northern suburbs of Melbourne without issue in the next week or so. I will be doing a trip to Sydney at some stage but it may not be for 6 or 8 weeks yet.

no hurry at all as my son (read me) still have a heap of work on the 4x4 Perentie where we are planning to install a 4BD1-T engine. I really appreciate this as the seller of the steering box did not want to take the afford of packing this and send it by courier.

All good this end. Contact the seller and PMme their details and I'll grab them. If you end up needed them sooner than I can make it, then I can always pack them ready to send, or someone else may be coming up in the meantime.

Ronny, any chance you can get me the details ASAP? I have a small window to get them to another member who is heading back that way this weekend. I would need to pick them up tomorrow morning for this to happen though as it will be the only day this week I'm over that side of town.

Hi All,

My son has a Perentie and I have managed to buy some Power steering gear in Melbourne which needs to be transported to Sydney (i can pick up anywhere in Sydney) I purchased this a while ago and a friendly member has this stored at his house. As my son is still in High school he has limited funds was wondering if anyone will be doing this trip in the near future

The parts are at my place - my plans for a Sydney trip any time soon have turned turtle unfortunately. I'll degrease and pack them properly so transport is easy. Parts are a power steering box, PS reservoir and lines. They were all full of fluid - that all ended up in the back of my ute, so now drained... :D

If there's no chance of fluid being spilled all over my Rangie's carpet, I might be able to bring it back to Sydney mid-August.

It's fully drained of oil, and I can box it up so nothing get dirty. :)
