Calling wise ones,
I'm in the market for a HSE D4, new or used. Either must be optioned with LR parts and then again after purchase with more off-road goodies to suite the multiple uses it will get - towing, alpine tracks, snow, beach, highway, school etc.
Came across a 2011 HSE but cannot figure out what these buttons are for. Anyone?

Side bolsters (the sides of each seat inflate or deflate). Attached is per the Handbook.

I like Tombie's answer best!
Thanks CSBrisie, I'll check out the manual supplied.

Sorry to hijack the thread, (now that the question has been answered) but does anyone know what that little black box thing is beside the rear view mirror?

That has the sensor for auto headlights, auto wipers.I it also dims the rear vision mirror when a tosser comes up behind on a dark country road with high beam on,very effective. So are my high beams and fyrlyt spotties when they overtake:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
There could also be a GPS sensor in there for Sat Nav equipped vehicles.

I'm not sure on that Andy, there seems to be a metal probe or something in there. I thought the light sensor was on the dash next to the centre speaker grille, the rain sensing wipers sensor is directly behind the mirror and the auto dimming mirror sensors are on the front and rear of the actual mirror.

Disco5 is correct. The black box pictured above is a humidity sensor.
