So, my nanocom told me that the left seat was not communicating to the BECM. But all the buttons still work and adjust the seat. How is this possible?
The nanocom is reporting every button is "ground" instead of 12v, and when I try to open the seat section of the output menu the nanocom freezes.

Also, why aren't the lumbar buttons on the nanocom? Are these not connected to the BCEM?

On a RHD car I was not aware the passenger seat was associated with BECM

The nanocom forums may be able to help with this mate

I see, but then why would I get a fault code that the BECM can't talk to the left seat? If it's not associated why is the BECM looking for it?

Is the car set up the nanocom as LHD?

No, as far as I can tell everything looks to be set up correctly.

Isn't there a test sequence for the seats that can be initiated through the nanocom?

Or I may be thinking of the classics here. ...

What exactly is the message you are getting ?

Remember the passenger seat does not have any memory

Error is the BECM is not receiving any comms from the seat outstation. It talks to the right seat just fine.
I just don't understand how the BECM can't see the seat, and the nanocom reports all the buttons in a ground state, yet the seat still works.
It's nothing to do with the seat memory by the way.

From the latest nanocom manual

"OUTSTATIONMEMORY command (which should be performed with the ignition off) then, after turning the ignition on for 5 seconds, turn it off and use this function to read the memory. It will show you, which outstation has not reported in.
Please note that where electric memory seats are not fitted there will be a report of no communication from that outstation, note the term memory as opposed to non memory which does not have an outstation."

I get the same message and my passenger seat does not have memory only the drivers side
