Heaps better system than NSW with the theme plates.

NSW now are $50 to make plate plus $100 a year on top of registration for new personalised plates only, one off charge far better.

Cheers

It's a maxidrive diff-lock, and change, if that puts it into perspective.

If you speak to Austral Landrover in Brissy you can use their themed plates which are only $395 once off

They are Land Rover symbol in between the numbers and letters and "the best 4x4xFar across the bottom of the plate 8)

I had a personalised playe (92RRQ) on Aquarangie becuase it's a 92-93 Rangie (93 techically, but reg as a 92). I sold it because it wasn't sutied to Thomas.

Thinking of getting another pp soon, maybe later but the places I take Thomas I have almost lost the dunga std plates a couple of times on the front (heavily secured now).

Don't tell her - just wait until she realises there's another button there. You could even disguise it as something women hardly ever use like,,, perhaps an indicator switch :!: (stands back and waits for hell to rain fury upon me)

G'day Reads style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif
In Qld there are differing types of plates, I.E. Standard Issue (Maroon on White background)Numerox3--Alphax3, "123-IRB" this weeks local issue is ???-IVA as the number rolls to 1000, next letter follows IVB-001 With Personals, you have a choice of background colour and letter/number colour, there was also Re-Issue plates these were only available in white characters on black background, these were Alpha-Numero and only with the early series letters, N-O-P style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif these plates were issued between 1955 and 1970 from memory, my 1968 Series 2a G S has OLR-068 plates (Old Land Rover -068) and some of my military vehicle friends have 65,66,67, 71, The illustrious Incisor has personalised plates for his business maroon on white CTH-01 and SWB-59 on his Shorty S2, and they, like mine can be taken from car to car as when you buy them they are your property style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif you could try for RDS-090 or NLR-090 DEF-090 LRD-090 POM-090 style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif try the website for PPQ P/L at www.ppq.com.au The real Expensive ones are the old Q plates, like "Q 562-010" they were standard Issue from 1919 until 31 Dec 1954 then the Alpha plates came in NAA-XXX  .
These plate suggestions only refer to the State of Queensland style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif
