Want a cheap project now that the series is on the road.
Its basically the Slav A-10, an armored beast of an aircraft with an armored cockpit and multiple redundant systems.
Perhaps it could be an Aulro syndicate plane....

Can live without the cannons... but the fuel consumption might be a problem.. Possibly the only thing thirstier than my 3.9 slug..:o

At aprox 100kg of fuel per 100km yep it would nearly be the same as the 3.9 though may be a little more picky on fuel quality. Though you could always occupy a small oil producing nation to cover the cost of feeding it (possibly even the 3.9 if you took over a larger nation :-)

... and the noise might be in issue with the neighbors up at the airfield I fly at... - not to mention wake-turbulence for the Gyros, Thrusters and Jabirus :twisted::twisted:

Maybe we should all raid our piggy banks and get an AULRO Black Hawk. I know a few people who can fly it and maintain it.

If it can't airlift a Perentie /Defender we should hold out for a Chinook ;)

Blackhawk can pick up a 110, not 6X6 or a Mog. Most I have lifted in a Blackhawk is 6000lbs. It say it has a max of 8000lbs on the hook but unless it was a 10 Deg day at sea level and you had 5 mins of fuel I don't think it could be done. It depends how high you are, how hot it is and how much fuel. A Chinook can lift 26000lbs empty. We just bought 10 new ones. One of the better ADF buys.
