Hi Guys
Got hold of some steel, this weekends project,ROCK SLIDERS for Black Betty 8) 8) 8) 8) We have a long weekend over here and I aint into AFL so I might get something done.
Pulled the plastic trim and oneside step off this arvo,it wont be quite as easy as I expected but I will give it a good go.
Im keeping the side steps, the horrible ones on my Ser3 proved their worth many times in protecting the panels.I hope to encoporate the side step into the slider assembly so I get a tough sill with pretty side steps that actually have a bit of strenght.
I will take "normal pics" so in the future some sort of tech article can be made.

I got them made today.LOOKING GOOD 8) 8) 8) 8)
Tommorow I will tidy them up and fit them, fix the side steps to them and then paint the lot.
Black Betty looks a bit "BUTCH" with no sidesteps or plastic sills, perhaps I should leave her like that.

Hi Guys
Ive got them made, just got to paint them and refit them.
All worked out perfect,I should be able to hilift jack from the factory sidesteps!!!AND once the checkerplate is refitted to the sidesteps you can hardly see where I have been!!!!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
I have taken plenty of normal pics, once developed I will get some posted.

Hi Guys
Just finished fitting and ready for testing. 8) 8) 8) 8) They seem plenty strong enough,I put the trolley jack under them and lifted without any problems. The way Ive made them should work on Rangies and Disco1's,once I get some pictures I will do up a DIY article.
Going out for Black Bettys first off road trip tommorow.
